Arthur Renetter Noble was born July 4th, 1935, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to the late Arthur Williams (Father) and Taomi Neal (Mother). She was raised in Vicksburg by her grandparents, Johnny and Blanch Walton (deceased). She was a graduate of Bowman High School in 1954. In 1953, Arthur was injured in one of the most tragic events in history (the 1953 Tornado in Vicksburg, Mississippi). She was in a coma for over a month. By the grace of God and the many prayers of family and friends, she was a survivor. Arthur loved to play the piano and often was asked to play a song or two for her classmates. She was known for "Arthur's Boogie" and could dance the night away.
Arthur was known by many friends and family for her delicious pound cakes and peach cobbler. She also served her community by volunteering in food pantries and hunger walks. Arthur Renette Noble was a First Church of Deliverance member for over 50 years and served on the Mother's Board and Group 40. She loved to wear her white uniform every Sunday, along with her comfortable white shoes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Noble, and daughter, Taomi Kyte (Tony), and leaves to cherish fond memories: Desiree (George) of Wisconsin, WI, Rhonda (Junior ) of Oswego, IL, Patricia of Elkhart, IN, Yvette (Berry) of Lynwood, IL, William Melvin (Sheron) of South Holland, IL, Virgil of Chicago, IL, Alvin of Harvey, IL, Miriam of East Hazel Crest, IL, Verna (God-daughter), Belinda (God-daughter), and a host of grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
