B renda (Na-Na) Michelle Wallace was born to Barbara Ann Wallace and Eugene Waters September 13th, 1969. Brenda was the fifth child born of eight. She attended John C Haines from 1978 until she graduated eighth grade in 1984. Her high school career took place at William J Bogan, during this time she gave birth to her first born Taneya Wallace (Dumas) but she didn’t let that stop her from graduating in 1988 while also maintaining a job at Jewel Osco. After high school while still making bank at Jewel she set out to complete her associates in accounting at Malcolm X college June of 1993. Two years later giving birth to her second child Denise (Nateya) Mathis. In the year 2000 she married Dennis Mathis and proceeded to have two baby boys Brenden and D’Angelo Mathis. At an early age Brenda accepted Christ as her Lord and savior and was baptized at Living Word Christian center under the leadership of Dr. William Winston. She worked as a professional for several Fortune 500 companies starting at jewel in high school with her final job at ComEd. Brenda lived a happy and loving life with her family and friends who will carry on her legacy. She leaves to cherish her memory.. mother; Barbara Wallace who preceded her in death, brother; William Wallace who preceded her in death, daughter; Taneya Wallace Dumas and her husband Rev Clarence Dumas aka Deacon Dumas; daughter; Denise Mathis, 2 sons; Brenden Mathis and D’Angelo Mathis, 1 granddaughter; Zareya Griffin. Sisters, godsisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and other family and friends. Beautiful Brenda, gone but never forgotten
